The hardware

We weren't satisfied with the performance, the cost or the lack of bare metal access that hosting providers offered, so we built our own machine, which we own and administer ourselves. Our hardware resides on the east coast of Australia and serves only our community.

We proudly support open-source projects and software, and our physical hardware runs on a headless NixOS system. Our configuration is version-controlled for redundancy and quick redeployment. All the data you see across our site and Discord comes directly from our own tools. No host or third-party provider can revoke or rate-limit us.
